At Hands On Primary, we believe that meaningful arts education should be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
We are committed to creating a website and educational resources that are welcoming, easy to use and continually improving for all visitors.
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a finished destination. As Hands On Primary grows, we will continue to review and improve both our website and our downloadable resources.
Our website
When designing our website, we aim to:

Our downloadable resources
Our learning packs are designed primarily as printable resources for families and educators.
When creating them, we aim to:
use clear page layouts
provide easy-to-read instructions
organise activities into logical sections
use consistent icons and visual cues throughout our resources
choose fonts that are clear and readable
design pages that are easy to print at home
Where appropriate, we also consider:

spacing
visual clarity
reducing unnecessary visual overload
Educational accessibility
Hands On Primary recognises that children learn in many different ways.
Our resources are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing parents, carers and educators to adapt activities to suit individual children's interests, abilities and learning needs.
Many activities encourage open-ended creativity rather than expecting one "correct" outcome, helping children participate in ways that work for them.
