Using Our Resources
Thank you for supporting Hands On Primary.
Every learning pack, printable, illustration, worksheet and activity has been carefully researched, designed and created to help families and educators enjoy meaningful arts education together.
When you purchase or download one of our resources, you are purchasing a licence to use that resource—you are not purchasing ownership of the copyright.
This page explains what you are welcome to do, and what is not permitted.
What you can do
Unless otherwise stated, you are welcome to:
✔ Download your purchased or free resources.
✔ Print resources for your own household.
✔ Use the activities with your own children.
✔ Adapt activities to suit your family's interests, needs or abilities.
✔ Share photographs of completed artwork or activities on social media.
✔ Recommend or review our learning packs, including using selected screenshots, provided they do not reproduce a substantial part of the resource or allow others to recreate the full product.
✔ Share photographs of children using printed activities in schools, nurseries or educational settings, provided you have the appropriate permissions to do so.
We love seeing your creativity, and we'd be delighted if you tagged @hands.on.primary when sharing your projects.
What you may not do
To protect the time, creativity and care that goes into producing our resources, you may not:
✘ Share the original PDF or digital files with other people.
✘ Upload our resources to websites, cloud storage, social media, file-sharing services or online marketplaces.
✘ Email purchased resources to friends, family members or colleagues.
✘ Sell, redistribute or commercially exploit any part of our resources.
✘ Remove our branding, copyright notice or logos.
✘ Claim our work as your own.
✘ Reproduce an entire learning pack or substantial parts of one in a way that allows others to access the content without purchasing it.
If someone else would like to use one of our resources, please encourage them to purchase or download it directly from Hands On Primary.

Artwork and historical images
Some learning packs include reproductions of historical artworks, photographs or other materials that are in the public domain or used under licence.
Where appropriate, these works are credited to the original artist or copyright holder.
While the original artwork may not be protected by Hands On Primary's copyright, the educational content surrounding it—including layouts, activities, explanations, worksheets and original illustrations—remains protected by copyright.
Sharing our resources
We love seeing families and educators enjoying Hands On Primary resources.
You're very welcome to:
share photographs of completed activities
recommend our resources to others
write blog posts or reviews
share a few screenshots when reviewing a product
Please avoid sharing so much of a resource that someone could recreate or use the full product without purchasing it.
If you're ever unsure whether something is okay to share, we'd be happy to help.
Classroom and educational use
Our resources are currently licensed for personal use.
If you are an educator using our resources with your own children or within your own setting, please make sure that the digital files themselves are not redistributed beyond the terms of your licence.
As Hands On Primary grows, we may introduce dedicated teacher, classroom or school licences offering additional permissions.
Requests for permission
If you would like to use our resources in a way that is not covered by this page—for example, in a publication, training course, commercial project or larger educational programme—please contact us.
We're always happy to consider requests.
Changes to this page
We may update this Copyright & Licensing page from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website together with the date it was last updated.
